• We invest primarily in technology ventures - specifically with a focus on internet, wireless, software, semiconductor technology, materials and networking. We have specialized in providing equity financing for the commercialization of military technologies. This strategy typically delivers mature technology, which  has been developed for the defense industry to our partners to commercialize by launching new companies with top-notch experienced teams. We prefer companies with an East Coast presence, and will consider any Florida-based technology ventures.

  

• We typically invest  from $500,000 to $2 million in early stage ventures with pre-money valuations of $2 million to $10 million.  We also may invest opportunistically in later stage and mezzanine rounds.

  

• We look to partner with talented, experienced and motivated entrepreneurial teams of smart people who truly want to build great companies that have the potential to become at least $100 million valuation companies within 5 years.

  

• We look for ventures that can dominate their respective category with high sustainable gross margins in large, fast-growing markets.

• Besides providing venture capital, we look to support our entrepreneurial teams with assistance in team-building and recruiting, operational guidance and support, brand-building and marketing, additional financing, as well as to assist in developing key strategic relationships.

  

• We do not normally sign  NDAs. Creative ideas abound (very few are truly unique). The real competitive advantage in a venture is to have the Team with the ability to successfully execute, which is the real "secret of success". We look at far too many plans to get involved with our attorneys on every potential conflicting idea.
